World War Two Anderson Shelter Thinking Challenge

14th Jan 2019

As P5/6 come to the end of their first term topic on World War Two, I want to highly commend each and every child for the excellent Anderson shelter they made as part of their learning. It was clearly obvious from each creation, the time, effort and ingenious thinking and planning that had gone into both researching and producing their models and I think you will agree by the photographs displayed below, the detail and level of excellence achieved was outstanding. Written feedback will be sent home shortly and thank you everyone for the support and help you provided in this task. The oral feedback they were able to give to the rest of the school and their peers during their gallery sessions was deep and insightful showing the level of learning they gained from the activity. Every child should be incredibly proud of their achievements and now that our second term topic is Japan my mind is buzzing!!! Samuria warriors, Bonsai trees - the world is our oyster! Enjoy the pictures. Well done P5/6!
