On Thursday 8th December we brought two 5-a-side teams over to Tandragee Rec Centre to take part in their annual indoor football competition. On our A Team we had Alex Linden (c), James Waddell, James Cockfield, Elijah Dempsey and Cody Mateer and on our B Team we had Keziah Finch (c), Peter Lockhart, Bethany Ellison, Ryan Woods and Joshua Cartmill. Both teams performed really well against schools much bigger than our own! Our A Team did so well that they reached the final, where they narrowly lost out 1-0 to a very strong Tandragee PS side! Alex Linden ended up with three goals, including a dramatic late winner in the semi-final, and Cody Mateer ended up with four goals and the overall Player of the Tournament!! Thank you to all the parents who also provided lifts to and from Tandragee - this was greatly appreciated!!
